About Lynae

Lynae brings a unique playstyle to Wuthering Waves with her roller skating mechanics. She has two different combat states called Optical Sampling Stage and Kaleidoscopic Parade. In her default Optical Sampling Stage, she builds up Overflow through her attacks. Once she has enough Overflow, she can use Spark Collision to enter Kaleidoscopic Parade mode.
When Lynae enters the Kaleidoscopic Parade, she starts skating around the battlefield at high speed. In this mode, she builds Lumiflow by skating and can perform powerful leap attacks called Polychrome Leap by jumping and consuming Lumiflow. These leap attacks deal big Spectro damage and count as Basic Attack damage.
The best part about Lynae is her support abilities. After using her Resonance Liberation, all nearby team members get a 24% damage increase for 25 seconds. Her Outro Skill is even better, giving the next character 15% All Damage Amplification and 25% Resonance Liberation damage boost. This makes her perfect for buffing main DPS characters who rely heavily on their Resonance Liberation.

Best Echoes for Lynae

Echoes determine how much damage Lynae deals and how well she supports your team. Here’s what to use:
Best Echo Sets
Your echo set choice depends on how you want to play Lynae:
| Echo Set | Bonus | Best For |
| Rite of Gilded Revelation (5pc) | Basic Attack damage boost and Resonance Liberation bonus | Main DPS build |
| Pact of Neonlight Leap (5pc) | Buffs next character after Outro Skill | Support build |
| Moonlit Clouds (5pc) | Energy Regen and team ATK boost | Balanced build |
Rite of Gilded Revelation is the best choice if you want Lynae to deal maximum personal damage. The 5-piece bonus increases Basic Attack damage and gives your Resonance Liberation a massive 40% Basic Attack damage bonus at max stacks.
Pact of Neonlight Leap is better if you want to focus on supporting your main DPS. After using your Outro Skill, the next character gets 30% ATK and 10% All-Type damage boost. Use this set when pairing Lynae with hypercarry characters like Iuno or Augusta.
Moonlit Clouds is the middle ground option. It provides Energy Regen to use your Liberation more often and increases team ATK when you use Energy Amplification skills.

Main Stats and Substats

Focus on these stats to maximize Lynae’s effectiveness:
Main Stats:
-
Cost 4 Echo: CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG
-
Cost 3 Echoes: Spectro DMG or ATK%
-
Cost 1 Echoes: ATK%
Substats Priority:
-
CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG
-
ATK%
-
Basic Attack DMG
-
Energy Regen
Aim for a 1:2 ratio between CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG. Try to reach at least 70% CRIT Rate and 140% CRIT DMG. Stack ATK% on your substats since Lynae scales with ATK. Basic Attack damage bonus is valuable because her entire kit deals Basic Attack damage.
Get at least 10-15% Energy Regen to use your Resonance Liberation more frequently. This helps you provide team buffs more often.
Best Team Compositions

Lynae works well with many different characters. Here are the best teams:
-
Premium Support Team: Main DPS + Lynae + Shorekeeper
-
F2P Support Team: Main DPS + Lynae + Verina
-
Spectro Focus Team: Iuno + Lynae + Shorekeeper
-
Quick Swap Team: Xiangli Yao + Lynae + Verina
Lynae works best with DPS characters who deal lots of Resonance Liberation damage. Characters like Iuno, Xiangli Yao, and Augusta benefit greatly from Lynae’s 25% Resonance Liberation damage buff. Pair her with a healer like Shorekeeper or Verina to complete the team.
Sanhua also pairs well with Lynae if you want to focus on Basic Attack damage. Sanhua’s Outro Skill gives 38% Basic Attack damage bonus that stacks with Lynae’s buffs.
Skill Priority
Level up Lynae’s skills in this order:
-
Forte Circuit: Powers her main mechanics
-
Resonance Liberation: Team buff ability
-
Resonance Skill: Damage and mobility
-
Basic Attack: General damage
-
Intro Skill: Lowest priority
Focus on Forte Circuit first because it controls her state switching and Polychrome Leap damage. Resonance Liberation comes second since it provides your team damage buff. After that, level her Resonance Skill for better damage output.
With practice, Lynae becomes an excellent support character who boosts your team’s damage significantly while contributing solid Spectro damage herself. Her versatility makes her valuable in many different team compositions.
